Love as Friendship

If a person you love is a good listener, if you can share anything that bothers you with him or her, if you have perfect mutual understanding, if your sense of humour is similar, if you can laugh at each other together and enjoy the whole process feeling absolutely comfortable with each other even when you don't look so good, then your love is more friendship than passionate affection.

Certainly, love as friendship is not harmful at all, unlike such love styles as masochistic or obsessive love. However, in most cases it lacks the sparkle of passion between two partners which is not too good either. It's not that they don't have sex; it's just that the whole issue may bore one of the two partners or even both. In either case something should be changed about the situation, and changing it is quite possible without changing a partner in fact.

Love as friendship style satisfies a girl usually; however, a guy may get bored of the whole thing and start looking out for something more exciting in the sensual sense. Most men definitely feel much more comfortable within a sensual relationship due to their nature.

However, so many men, so many different characters, attitudes and feelings, that's why a few men can feel quite comfortable in their friendish romantic relationship without occasional passionately wild sparkles.
