Puppy Love

Puppy love is a funny kind of love to the ones who have a splendid opportunity to observe it from the distance. Taking part in it i.e. either being a faithfully loving dog or a 'master' – ain't fun at all.

As we've already hinted, the relationship suggests two parties or roles – depends on the way you treat it – a faithful and slightly blind dog (puppy) and a strict merciless master.

The puppy obediently follows the master's each and every step trying to whine out at least a tiny bit of mercy and love out of the heartless master. His or her puppy essence doesn't imply any pride or self-respect. They are all absorbed in their masters and obsessed by getting at least the slightest remote chance of being loved by them.

Masters in their turn are totally reluctant to love the puppies because as a rule masters are strong and i.e. in strong need of non-weak partners, the ones who can handle their masterness and turn it into something tiny and meaningless comparing to their immense power.

Certainly, puppies are unable to have such global impact on their masters, that's why the two people performing these roles are just not meant to be together. They are a fine personification of sadistic and masochistic relationship all in one. Puppies suffer on the one hand, but on the other they don't stop chasing the objects of their love which allows us to make a conclusion that these not too strong 'animals' just enjoy being played with.
